Curriculum Overview

In KS2 and KS3 our creative curriculum is at the heart of Teaching and Learning.

Our students, teachers and staff have developed these quality modules that are reflective of our interests and heritage. Our students learn the skills, knowledge and processes that help them to become independent learners who are also able to collaborate effectively in problem solving situations.

The creative curriculum units are continually adapted and improved through careful evaluation and feedback. We believe the creative curriculum units are the key to accelerated learning in all of the core curriculum areas.

During key stage 4 and year 9 in some subjects, our students undertake Maths, English and Science qualifications at Entry Level or GCSE as well as Entry Level or Cambridge Nationals ICT. They are also offered the opportunity to complete qualifications in PE, Food, Multimedia, Art, Horticulture and Prince’s Trust. For more information about individual qualifications and units please click here.
